Ended up scrapping the idea for F-Cut, and made a smaller version of it that works for compression of PE's up to ~32k in data size. The only disadvantage (and the fact i'm currently working on other projects as well + manwhoring & class work) is that it screws up the icon data for the program when it decompresses it. Other than that, F-Cut works fine.
V-Bait v7.1a will be released sometime here in the next week or so. Instead of using hex values & decryption routines, another program will be included in the zip file that creates a signature database that V-Bait then impliments a relative keyfile to access the signatures, thus significantly reducing the time it takes to scan a file. The size of the virus signature library is ~50% of the regular signature list.
Further versions of V-Bait will include a Crc32 Module, multi-file signature extraction (used for obtaining new signatures for virii manually), and possibly realtime file protection.
