listening to 3 songs right now...before i have to leave.....anthem, tolerate, wishtm. the sound sucks but of course you didn't record in a studio.

it's not bad. i'm going to listen to it more when i get back. keep up the rocking!

hmm....

'anthem' - starts out. whoever is doing that banging in the song has to change that. make it harder or deeper but the way it is now isn't going to work.

'betrayal' - sounds nice so far. you need to change the description for it on mp3.com.....it sounds childish what's on there now. no one will take you seriously if you sound like morons. make it sound more professional and you're good to go. not a bad song.....drumming needs work.

'tolerate' - better song. better drumming.

'wishtm' - there's that annoying banging sound. but nice guitar riffs.

'alone' - nice beginning. ouch. lol...sorry, it's the drumming. i don't know what's going on with it....maybe because of the bad recording.

overall - need improvement but not a whole lot. i'm sure you know that. the drumming is your biggest problem, what you have now doesn't go with the type of music you're making. great vocals. good music. keep on rocking.....and get a manager(if you can afford it). and get as many gigs as you can. and keep playing.

i listened to them again today. those songs will sound better if recorded in a studio. in fact, i'm going to listen to them again right now.

there are only two songs on mp3.com ... 'betrayal' and 'alone'. the other three are on their site.

- no problem, kevin. now i see why the poor sound quality....but hey, you'll get it mixed and mastered and then it'll sound even better! can't wait to hear it.

lol.....no need to jump your drummers ass. he does a good job. personally i think the drumming needs to be heavier or deeper, more bass. maybe it sounds good to others, i don't know. as long as you guys are happy with it then that's all that matters.

you can check out www.scarsoflife.com .....indy band from florida, very good band. why they don't have a major record deal, i don't know......it doesn't make sense. anyways, you can contact them through email or on their message board, i'm sure they can give you some input. very nice guys. and their music rocks as well.
