My Cpu Is ****ing Up Help Me!

Alright in the last couple days my cpu has been ****ing up and freezing when I try to go into yahoo games rooms among other things. Before it would NEVER so this EVER and when I run bandwith test I still get betwwn 2300-2500kbps why does it do This and how can I fix it becuase its really annoying. I have 512 RAM and a 2.4ghz prcessor and cable connection and now it cant do the simplest stuff liek run Winamp and IM and Winmx at the same time without there being serious lag and freezing on webpages. The cpu never totally freezes but I have to manually close programs. Should I reformat and just back up stuff (400 songs and 10 movies) or is there something wrong that can be fixed

I already ran adaware and unistalled some programs and deleted suspicious stuff and ran virus scan and stuff like that but nothing comes up.

hmm... Your startup could be full.. Too much **** loading to ram upon start up.. I do that problem after i uninstall new **** alot... Have you ever cleaned yoru startup before?

no kane I havent done that but I just dont understand why the mother freezes up and lags constantly. The only thing I remember doing is deleting some temp files would that **** it?

I used system restore and now it works fine but Im wondering what the hell happened anyway

A number of possibility's
your start up was most likely full.... Myabe a disk defrag was due.... scan disk.. Those types of things help
