This is gonna be a great year for music. Even though we're already a few months into the year.

First, let me say it's gonna be the "Year of The Spider"

May 13th is the release date for the next COLD album, Year of The Spider. I've been lucky to download 3 of their new songs and wow, this band just keeps getting better and better. The ones I've listened to are Stupid Girl, Suffocate, and Remedy. Check out www.coldonline.com to listen to a couple new songs and for other great sh-t.

"14 Shades of Grey" by STAIND hits store shelves just one week later on May 20th. These guys kick major rock ass too. Check out www.staind.com

Not only that, but Metallica will be releasing their 10th album on June 10th titled "St. Anger" and Limp Bizkit has their ever changing cd coming out on uhh, who knows when. But look for it. And if we have any Jewel fans in here, her latest cd, 0304, will be out on May 6th.

This is also gonna be a great year for concerts too. Staind and Cold might be touring together this year. You have Ozzfest, Summer Sanitarium, and the Lollapalooza tour, among others.

It's time to Rock.

- not gonna happen. because we live in a fvcked up society that is based on pop music and cRap/r&b music. they're the ones who are getting the biggest push from marketing. you'll never see a Morbid Angel video on mtv. but you'll see the same damn nelly video 50 times.

and i'll have more to say on this later.

The sad truth is that the morons who listen to the gay music just don't know the real music is out there.

These are the songs I'm listening to the most lately...well, some of them, there's a lot more.

Cold - Suffocate, Stupid Girl, Remedy

Staind - Price to Play

Bush - Letting the Cables Sleep(now remix)

Candlebox - You

Momento - Nothing Sacred

Evanescence - Bring Me To Life

Project 86 - Hollow Again

(Hed)PE - Blackout

Marilyn Manson - Mobscene

Stone Sour - Inhale

Johnny Cash - Hurt

Taproot - Mine, I

There are many more but I'm getting tired of typing. What's everyone else listening to? Any suggestions? :D

Btw, That N.O.W. remix of Letting The Cables Sleep kicks ass.....and Headbangers Ball premiere is gonna be hosted by Metallica. Let's hope they don't bring their rap friends along.

St Anger is the title of Metallica's song, which will be the first radio release from their upcoming album of the same name, St Anger.
