There was this guy from europe a grand master. He played this guy who whooped him and he said for sure it was bobby fischers opening, mid and end game. But it was over the net and they still believe it was fischer because he whooped him and he was a gm.

Well.. bobby fischer will never appear again. Maybe it's because he doesnt have his title? Nope thats not it. Maybe its because he doesn't like people? Nah thats not it either.. Ohh yeah maybe its because he's guilty of 13 years of tax evasion. Yeah i hit the nail on the head. He wont return because he will be imprisoned faster than a black man who steals a stereo from a rich white womans car. So yeah. The internet meens nothing. Lets take it as maybe he was an Idiot Savant. He could see so many moves into the future but wasnt able to do anything but chess, Maybe he was a child prodigy. A kid who understood the game more than most people can. Just because the person played like fischer meens nothing. If you study fischers games, you learn his styles. If you study long enough ans understannd it well enough you can play just like him.

Of course Bobby is the best of all time, just a shame he did what he did though. I'm sure he plays Chess every now and then, if I was him I would get plastic surgery and make some more money.

I don't know if he is the best of all time, he would have to come back to prove that.

I think Kasparov edges The Fish barely. Fischer did make a return in like 1992 when he came back to Own Boris Spassky. He was a monster.

Kasparov and Fischer... no questions Fischer will come out on top.. just by sheer power of play
-ßéñ©Ø-
05-21-2003, 06:26 PM
maybe , but it wont happen so its a moot point
pugamsish
05-21-2003, 06:27 PM
Thats not fair for you to say that, Look who Fishcher played and look who Kasparov played, Kasparov has much better competition in Shirov, Leko, Anand, Kramnik.

05-21-2003, 06:28 PM

well to FIDE and USCF GM status is completely different... FIDE ie world competition so its tougher... and there have been many Gm's which were young i know waitzkin (whos a punk in reality) was like 14 so prodigys get younger and younger

and if any contendorship is worthy of being called a legendary macth it would of been "In 1972 American Bobby Fischer challenged Boris Spassky for the title of World Champion which was held in Reykjavik, Iceland. This most publicized world championship in chess history took place during the Cold War between the USA and the USSR. As a consequence both players were under considerable pressure to win. When Fischer defeated Spassky, 35 years of Soviet domination of the world championship also ended. Spassky returned to his homeland in disgrace."
