You will be able to tell if someone has been using your machine, you can even see everything they did, including what they typed.

pugamsish

Not a tracer, a logger.

I'm confused as all on how to work this. Also, I am finally back, stupid DSL service went out last Friday and they finally fixed it.

Sniper, it won't work at your house, you have to be on a network with a domain, like work or school. Put in the network address you want to send the message to, and it sends it to it.

So for example, at work, my login to the domain is ptuer, so once I am logged into the network under ptuer, if someone wants to send me a message using netsend, they would put ptuer in the Send To text.

Hmm, if I have a wireless router, could I send messages to other computers into my house like my sisters comp or dads work laptop?

I never tested that, try it.

Aight, I will. Just have to wait till my dad is home tomorrow and when he is on his laptop.

net send {target} {message}

pugamsish

Limp, yeah, except it is graphical, and better because you can send messages as someone else.

Realged13

HMM, would I type my dads login id as who to send it to or should it automaticaly send it to him anyways?

pugamsish

put whatever he is connected to the domain as. I don't think it is going to work, it might.

*IMPORTANT* If you downloaded the Netsender from this thread, redownload it from the downloads section. There was a bug that when you exited the program it still ran in the background, also I fixed the taborder problem.

Realged13

Nope. Netsender does not work for computers on wireless routers. It's like me sending myself a message, not others.

pugamsish

You have to put their network ID in the Send To box. I didn't think it would work, you need to be on a domain.

Realged13
06-12-2003, 03:58 PM
Yea, I put in my dads login name but said it couldn't find it.

pugamsish
06-12-2003, 04:48 PM
try sending it to you. I really don't think it is going to work. It was designed to be used on a domain.
