New CD released yesterday: "Hail to the Thief"
As usual, Radiohead keeps progressing and their music is more layered and involved. I love the single "There There" and the last track on the album "A Wolf at The Door" , finalizes a masterpiece. "Go To Sleep" and "Where I End and You Begin" are fantastic. The music conveys power and definition and I recommend it to anyone. The lyrics are diverse and require some thought, but the underlying message is overwhelming. This band is well known, but continues to stay off mainstream radio for good reason. In one word, the anticipation for me was truly amazing. Radiohead is still capable of producing ambitious music which is remarkably enjoyable. I love this band, they are a living truth in what music should be. "Viewed by many as Rock's great last hope. Popular throughout the world despite consistently producing groundbreaking 'challenging' albums. They sell millions but aren't mainstream. Frequently outspoken against governments and capitalism, Radiohead takes control of themselves through there music" . You will be enthralled by this album. I was, and hope I can pass the greatness on to you.
In a world monopolized by pop and rap, it is nice to know that part of the core of GREAT music is still alive and well.
