BXP sucks. I could open like 12 RatMan Chains, no errors, no missing ids, perfect tables and was super fast and effective. I loaded 1 of lebs BXP and it crashed my computer on the first one opened and it was hard to figure out and stuff. RatMan Chain is the best.

i know for a fact ratman cxi dont work in pool ........ it works for awhile then quits . but it still works in all the other rooms, i always boost in rooms i dont know how to play in. like cribbage, even tho i dont know how to play that game ....... it still works there. most of the time i just leave the chain booster on before i leave for work ........ then when i return its still going.

The point is that this IP address thing is a bunch of crap.

The booster that I have uses the same IP for all players at all
levels of the chain. The booster play all players at the same time
and there is no IP conflict.

So, I dont know where some of these people get this idea about the IP problem but it just aint so.

Boosting should be over. All you kids dont deserve it. I meen coem on. In pool, (since its where i was 94% of the time) 10K used to ahve meaning. There were only a hand full of people who had that honor. Then kids start boosting lagging rooms to death. Making it pointless. I'm glad i never paid for booster. Making ym own and having people who i knew and helped. Boosting can be done again, You just gotta know how to do it, Its sad the lengths people will go to. I saw a prog that played 1 game then they left and the next 2 came in.. I feel so bad. The code parsing was good, but the idea was blah. I feel bad for you kids, but find it funny at the same time.

actually your right baloney there is a 3rd gen chain booster but its only for 2 player games ......... slow but works in pool and all the other rooms ........ but i still like ratman chain booster works alot better than 3rd gen v2. (<thats the new booster)

I think the reason for boosting, since the game value has no real meaning to boosters, is to have as high a rating as possible for the sole reason of impressing people (which it doesn't) or perhaps it is just a 'fad' like thing. Keep in mind that boosters also try to get the lowest rating as possible, like a -nnnnnn value. It's just to be 'different'. A long time ago not many people boosted and so they were amoung the very very few who had some rating either much higher than everyone else or much lower. But boosting got to be very popular and then everyone was boosting and as such the extremity in their ratings became so common place that now-a-days it's not something like "Wow!. Man, you must be very good at this game"., it's more like "Ah, I see that you're a booster".

You have to have a program (usually they are written in Visual Basic) that connects you to a Yahoo game room. Then the program logs in your game players (two or more) and assigns every two players a table. Then the program 'starts' the game, and sets the timer (usually about 30 or so seconds). The two players just sit there doing nothing until the timer runs out then the player (usually white) wins the game due to time out on blacks part. After that the program starts a new game and the cycle repeats itself until you either stop the program or Yahoo boots you from the game.
