you could make rares if you sign up for SBC dial up ISP.. thats what I did.. but you can only make rares like "somename@prodigy.net "

just sign up for at www.prodigy.net for there service and you can make @prodigy names it cost $$$ and i think the ids only last as long as you pay. plus since when did rares become makeable? thought rares ment they are rare and cant be made, so technically they arent rares just lame ids with a @prodigy.com behind them. but if your desperate then thats the way to go. yahoo bought prodigy.net and its part of the sbcglobal service now. if theres a way to make them without paying for the service i dont know about it.

I'm guessing if you had an in with someone who worked at yahoo you could have them make you a special cgi for making names..kindof like when hotmail had a cgi script that allowed people to get into any accounts without a pw.. :)

hes the only person i know who has it, created it himself, and he proved it.
im not giving out his name, hes elite and he can make any damn yahoo ID he wants.
well he said hes bored of it, maybe he will release the script so a few hundred or so people that get it might get to make illegal IDs before yahoo figures it out.

the only people that will see the nickname are people on beta or chat 2.0 and if yo use ascii they look fine on your side but not to other people in the chat room. Also theres a way to edit nickname to have it say **** but not edited. and when you use voice your real id shows up not the nickname. so no its not really a id its a "nickname"

uhh i still dont think there is a way to make illegals. i used to know a very complicated way to make ASCII, but it was extremely complicated, so i kinda forgot, but i knew the general idea....after i quit all that, i came back to yahoo later and found that way was patched, although im sure there is a way around it...ohh well.
