i would probably make it more difficult than it actually is.
a form is just the part of a webpage which you can enter a username and password.
forms are a little more difficult to crack than basic authentication because you gotta **** about with the settings in accessdiver.
theres loads of good tutorials about though with screenshots just search google :)
you can download accesdiver for free from accessdiver.com aswell

cracking websites is illegal, would you like to be reported to the FBI?

sure if you feel like.
i dont need to give my ip to you its ok
if they need it desperately they can just give jesse a subpeona
and then see the log of me accessing this site with my ip. :)

oh yeah depending on the circumstances not cracking all websites are illegal.
if you were to run a website designed to show people how to make there website more secure by showing them the faults of there websites and how they are cracked it would be ok.
like if you own a website and let people try to bruteforce it for fun that would be legal as it is your website.
unless it is a government website then the FBI would not prosecute, the owner of the website would prosecute :)
so before you make a post without any prior knowledge of how the ineternet works or about the law please go to google and do some research.
the internet is not owned or regulated by any person(s) or companies neither. if however you had a website and you were based in the united states or the server that your website was hosted on was based in the united states and you had some illegal content on the site then that would be breaking us laws and the government could prosecute.
if you are in aniother country and also the server that is hosting the site is in another country then with the recent laws that have been passed regarding computer security and information it could be considered a terrorist act (it can be also if you live in usa aswell though like if you spread a virus) chances are though most countries are allies with us and would try to help the us government in stopping any laws from being broken, thats why when you see a website with some content which could be considered inapropriate if you email the host more often that not the content will be removed as soon as possible.
i was using usa as my examples simply because i believe jesse is from and living in us the server this website is hosted on is in us aswell i believe. but i am living in uk anyway :)

yeah kane im not surprised.
when a site is cracked it pisses the owner of more than anything even if they do know who did it, prosecuting would get alot of news and they would be worried about being known for bad security.
kevins reason for not prosecuting is probably just the fact that hes been there done that lol, and didnt like prison much himself so he is not really in a position for accusing someone that does something illegal immoral lol.
its like with websites that have been defaced in the past.
there are sites that keep a track of defacing like zone-h and attrition, well a while back a site was defaced and the site sold some sort of service or product so they had credit cards and sensitive information in some way, i dont recall what site it was but we will use example.com lol well this site asked attrition to remove the archive of the defacement because they were worried that people would not use there website to buy there product or service for security related reasons.
oh yeah and if ya wanna talk Zenos just make a post and start a topic lol.
