has yahoo updated?

someone was saying to me that yahoo has updated or something and none of there boosters or crackers work anymore.
has yahoo updated or changed security recently?
i thought if they did i would have seen some posts here or something.

if so do you know where i can get some visual basic yahoo module examples.
