could it be possible for a games client with voice chat?
like if the people that were chatting and the people that were listening had the same client would it work?

it was just an idea anyway, if any of you advanced programmers have nothing better to do.

Yes, as long as everyone had the same client. The client program would simply incorporate a module that translates voice into a .wav (or some other sound format) file. The biggest problem that I have seen is when too many people start talking at the same time the client programs recieving the sound files starts to get jittery and sometimes incomprehensable due to overlapping sound waves.
