This is a newer version of VBait I've been working on for about a week (mostly interface and performance tweaks). As of now, you're looking at a combination AV Scanner, Firewall, and Honeypot.

If you do not have a compression utility that supports winrar formats, then I suggest you visit http://www.rarlabs.com or http://www.download.com and download the most current version.

I know I'm not exactly the most well liked person here, but I don't give two flying ****s. If any of you want an open source av scanner, firewall and/or honeypot, you know where to get it.

Strangely enough, VBait is legit, along with all of my other programs. Not to mention the fact that if you don't trust the exe file that's in the archive, you can compile the source code yourself. Hence the term *OPEN SOURCE*. In fact, anyone is free to look at the source, and here's what's really great. The only file deletion/altering that takes place throughout the entire program is when you start the program, and it makes a dynamic name list based on the signature database, and when you make a test file. As for being approachable, I really don't give a damn. If people find me threatening and are weary to approach me simply because of a few flame threads in a forum, that's their problem.

By the way, Kane, thanks for all that helpful input directly relating on how to improve the program and/or code, I'll be sure to add you to the list of contributors. ;)
