i'm aware that no matter if your information has been changed on the account, you are able to freely call yahoo! and request the password back. with that in mind you can tell the person that you know the original information that was on the account. if you are unable to get into the email address that was provided at the time of sign-up, they will send the information, if successful with request, to another account. this is also good for you people who "info" names. i've personally gotten accounts this way several times, but this was a little more then a year ago.
some other tips.
1. make your zip 9 digits instead of 5.
2. if known how, change your birthday to that of something obscure. for instance, febuary 2, 1900.
3. randomly pick a country different from what you are residing in.
**Note
i'm not sure if you will be able to retrieve the account back, if compromised, with the method i posted above.
another retarded way to "secure" an account is to parent the account on some obscurely named account. (uber_ahoo_ninja_1234)
