FF7 rumors, secrets, etc

well guess i will start a thread here. since ff7 is for playstation, and this is playstation area....anywho...anyone have any secrets or rumors they want to share? I will gladly prove everyone's rumors wrong cuz im good at that :) ohh and btw, http://uk.geocities.com/hacker_josh i just started that site, layouts good i guess, but im adding ff7 stuff to it. along with gay yahoo stuff too.

hahaa!!i got a rumor for yall.you can not get a white chocobo on ff7.heres the rumor though to do it.you have to go underwater with the white chocobo.(cant get awhite chocobo) to fight a certain weapon.i also beat the game plenty of times.with and without gameshark

Heres a trick that surely works on ff7.On the 3rd cd,you fight Ruby weapon(sorry about my grammar)to make it kinda quick,you cast hades on Ruby.It will cast stop and sometimes poison on ruby for a while.When he starts moving slowly,you cast it again.You will eventually kill Ruby.
*note:you have to kill ultimate and emerald weapon before you fight Ruby.(Dang!!!I hate that emerald weapon its a pain in the a@$!!,even with gameshark i couldnt beat him.)You will find Ruby in the Desert.

LOL, did you know the Sephiroth(think thats how you spell it) is one of the 12 Knights of the Ultimate Summon "Knights Of The Round?" Seriously I forget what he looks like but he is in there. See if you can prove that wrong!

Yea buddy he is. Look about near the end of the summon about the 7th knight and you should see a guy with the Sephiroths sword and thats him!( Pretty sure he just flys and and then slashes the enemy

nahh i saw him too and was fooled...thats not sephiroth for a few reasons...for one, sephiroth is paralyzed, why would he help you :-| hes in north crater well his body is, you see him in this big crystal of mako in disc 3 i think (he has been there since before the game started)...he has absorbed so much of the lifestream he is a near god...so he controls peoples mind and the sephiroth you see isnt really him...like i said hes in north crater with not enough physical energy to go leave. thats why he summons meteor, to make a huge wound on the planet VERY big, and he is gonna be there absorbing all that energy to become god. anyways he is using a fake body to move cuz like i said hes not able to move. thats why you have to stop him. and for the chocobos NO HIDDEN CHOCOBOS. I even emailed squaresoft and the confirmed it. and there is no hidden characters (zack, sephiroth, young cloud etc.)

also...look at "sephiroth" in knights of the round..he has a skinny long neck and small head, thats not seph. and he isnt wearing the same clothes.
Anyways..heres an add on to my last post about sephiroth being in north crater...you are prolly wonder how he got there in that big mako crystal thing.
It all started when sephiroth went crazy. well zack was in the nibel reactor with him NOT cloud but zack, next post i will explain about that whole story...anyways zack was the one who got sliced up..cloud was one of the regular shinra soldiers but was too emberassed to say he didnt make it into SOLDIER. Tifa and cloud stay outside the reactor and zack&seph go in. seph sees jenova and sees the mutilated bodies and thinks hes of the same origin which hes NOT. then they return to the shinra mansion and seph reads gast's notes. thats the same thing you see in clouds flashback where cloud goes outside the mansion and everythings on fire... anyways its the same story but the truth is it was zack who walked out. and blah blah. sephiroth heads to the reactor and a few people follow to kill him. Tifa reaches the reactor to find her dead father...she takes sephs sword off the ground and goes in, but seph steals the sword and slices her and she is badly injured. cloud comes and sees tifa and helps her to the side. he runs into the room with seph&jenovas body. He stabs seph injuring him. he returns to tifa and helps her...seph takes jenovas body and walks past cloud to the leave the reactor. on the bridge cloud goes to seph but seph stabs him and then cloud lifts the sword up and slings seph into the reactor. it leads right into the lifestream. He was underground in the lifestream floating absorbing the knowledge until he reached the north crater where he remains.

Now...the story behind cloud and zack. well cloud always wanted to be in SOLDIER and so did zack. cloud tried to join soldier but he didnt make it, he became a normal shinra soldier. zack made it though. well they were both sent with seph to a mission which is explained about about the reactor. anyways after seph burns down nibelheim, hojo and shinra comes and hojo takes the injured to use for experiments...i will tell about the experiments in another post. anways well they see cloud there injured and take him, but Zangan was OK he saw Tifa injured...and took her to safety in midgar. thats where she stayed til she healed. they (shinra/hojo) saw zack and cloud and got them both. hojo took cloud/zack to the shinra mansion and was doing experiments on them with jenova cells. they are put in tubes and you see that in a secret FMV if you return to the basement of the shinra mansion in disc 3. cloud scratches into the tube that they need to get out, and then zack waits til feeding time...knocks out the scientist, and opens clouds tube up and they escape. cloud is really messed up from mako and jenova treatments, but zack is alright. zack dresses up cloud in a SOLDIER uniform and they head for the midgar mountains. the shinra find cloud and zack...they shoot zack down and is killed which you see in the secret FMV. they realize cloud is probably not gonna survive, so they leave him and report that he escaped. cloud takes zacks sword and makes it to sector 7 where tifa finds him.

now to explain the jenova tests and why cloud thinks he is someone else...well long ago, prof. gast and hojo were sent to shinra to do tests with the newly discovered body of Jenova. lucrecia and vincent (who was at the time, part of the turks) are sent to keep an eye on them. vincent falls in love with lucrecia, but lucrecia falls in love with hojo. hojo gets lucrecia pregnant and there son is who...Sephiroth! anways, hojo begins experimenting with live people. gast dislikes it, and leaves...meanwhile, hojo injects lucrecia and the not yet born sephiroth with jenovas cells. Lucrecia becomes altered out of her mind right after she has sephiroth. vincent finds out, and is mad at hojo. so hojo shoots vincent. he straps him to the lab table in the shinra mansion, and experiments on vincent makin him monster like. vincent wakes up realizes whats happens, and goes to the coffin and seals himself because hes a monster. then, lucrecia leaves by herself and hides in her cave that you find her in, in disc 2/3. hojo takes sephiroth to midgar where he trains him and observes his growth and strength, which seems to be way higher than people his own age. anyways when cloud and zack are taken to the mansion later to be experminted on by Hojo which i explained above, cloud gets really messed up from the experiments. so him and zack escape. on the way to midgar, in the secret FMV you see zack and cloud in the back of a truck...on the ride there, zack was telling cloud about his experiences and everything that happened in SOLDIER..and cloud is really messed up from the mako etc., so when tifa finds him afterwords in the sector 7 train station, he has gotten zacks stories mixed with his own and thinks he was in soldier. now cloud begins tellinge everyone he was in soldier when he wasnt. thats why he thinks he was, hope everyone understands. sorry about the length of these posts but i needed to post this much so you could understand it.

well, it took a while to figure that stuff out. clues! its all in the game. some of it you really have to think about, but its allll there somewhere whether you know it or not. well the best place for gameshark is www.cmgsccc.com its got the best FF7 gameshark i have ever found and they are sweet check it out

well 1 is Letter to a Daughter and the other is Letter to a Wife and no they don't do anything. Just a way to get some Items removed from the game. it's still a mystery as to what they did. anyways, im bored so I think im gonna email squaresoft again and see if they will tell me what those were originally for.

Goku what I mean is, are the letters written by Cloud or from some unknown writer?

unknown. my guess is..."Letter to a daughter" could POSSIBLY be for Marlene, Barret's daughter. But this is questionable, because we know Marlene....and therefore, it would be entitled "Letter to Marlene," and not to "a Daughter," that means we don't know this character and must hunt her down. As for the "Letter to a wife," I am almost certain that is to Elmyra. She is Aeris' guardian at the time when you get her, she is the lady at Aeris' house, because Aeris's real mom died. And Elmyra's husband was off at war in a distant land (Wutai). She states how he was coming home soon, but she waited and waited and never came. Then Aeris said that Elmyra lost someone dear to her and not to cry blah blah and obviously it was Elmyra's husband. But she never got a letter saying he had died in war. That's probably what that letter was. Now I'm about sick of talking about FF7 lol but ohh well. Too much typing trying to explain things.

Whats the best playe ron the game to you. I personally think Cid is really strong but then again Aeris is pretty good if she as still alive.

i like yuffie. shes so funny, but i like using clouds limit breaks. especially having meteorain by the chocobo farm on disc 1 :) yea i have done that before, actually i had tifas 3/2 and red Xiii's 3/2 by there, and cloud had finishing touch, his 3/2, but i use meteorain its so much cooler. and stronger, on bosses. but yuffie is great. i dont use aeris that much, i have only got her to her 3/2 before, never saw her level 4 limit break. i got everyone else all their limit breaks with the exception of cait sith. he has 2. but ive never got his second one. hes so gay! my friend just got it the other day because i told him how. all you have to do is get like 40 killls with him and he learns it. but its gay anyways.
anyways, back to the point...i think yuffie is the best in the game...she can even morph very well with her conformer, which is good in the Gelnika for getting Power, Magic, etc. sources.

I;ve had Aeris' 4th Limit break once. But there is one glitch about it, you have to use gameshark to rise her from the dead but it takes place of one of your characters. But when you use that character it has all her limit breaks. I used Yuffie to change into Aeris.

nah, you can get her LvL4 LB in disc 1, no cheats or anything. ive gotten the Item you need, just never gave her it because i didnt feel like it, its a waste anyways.
Btw, why did you change yuffie! shes the greatest person on FF7, i woulda changed Cait sith, or as i always name him "Cat Toy" or "FatA$$" :P

Um, I was reading pg. 2 in this thread, and I saw Goku's explanation of the two Letters that were removed from the game, and I have a bit of input on that.

I strongly believe the two letters are BOTH from Aeris' father. It makes sense, the explanation that Goku gave us covers the "Husband->Wife" story, and the Letter to Daughter also fits into "Father->Aeris"...but who knows?

aeris' real father is Prof. Gast.
her mother is Ifalna.
Her guardian now is Elmyra, who is her mother because she raised aeris since she was young, when she found her.
Letter to a daughter cant be from Gast to Aeris, because Gast didnt know Shinra was going to invade, they just barged in one day, and killed him.
We didn't know Ifalna's husband, who would be the step father of Aeris because of Elmyra finding Aeris.
Therefore its not from him.
Thats why i say its to Marlene, who is Barrets daughter.
Now, Letter to a wife.
That one is really obvious, its from Elmyra's husband, who was in the warr at Wutai. In the beginning of the game, it even makes it obvios when Elmyra says that he never sent a letter or anything.
Obviously the letter got lost in the mail or something lol.

Yeah, I forgot about all that extra crap to do with prof. Gast and stuff...I see what you're sayin' about the Letter to a Daughter now. :P So yeah, that definately makes sense about it being from Barrett to Marlene, seen as how Barrett has always been wanting to see his daughter throughout their adventures, etc....
