I would say Visual Basic for beginners is better than Delphi.

I agree with Mark_C. Visual Basic is easier to use for beginners than Delphi.

I'm working with VB right now but I'm going straight to delphi once the download gets finished. But I will work with both and see how well I can do.

Vb and Delphi are really similar just that Delphi has more options and makes a better program. VB just easier to understand
how do you use the InStr command with delphi?
also, is the len command from vb the same in delphi? ex) len(abc) = 3

Vb is more globally renowned than Delphi, doesnt mean either are better, use what ur comfortable with, learn as much as u can
Pascal, Cobalt, Vb, C++ ...blah blah blah..lol

Some great progs have been made with VB...I don't know that much about Delphi though. Seems though (from reading above) u can do more with Delphi so the more options the better usually, unless u r just a beginner then I guess VB would be easier. Since they are alike (someone else said) couldn't u just switch to Delphi after learning VB quite easily?...J/w :D
haha yea i think thats what they are getting at here
what type of great progs have you seen sono?
i vote for vb being easier in my own poll lol
