It appears the code i got has been patched, any ideas?

yeah when i login it gives me "HTTP/1.1 400 Bad Request" instead of the the cookie and the usual stuff. I asked mark about it and he said that it was indeed patched but he wouldn't help me get it fixed :(

Andy..im confused...u ask how 2 make rares (fairly newbieish) but then ur asking acout coding.....

i've heard the elite can make rares, infact sultan told me a few months back that he was close to figuring it out. yes, this is a coding question, whats your point?

very few times do people know if they are close to figuring out something. he's prolly just taking random stabs in the dark like everyone else is.

ehh nah..i think its possible. ive done some sweet things on accident that i could never figure out how i did.
like with the old trick to put ASCII in your ID in your games profile...
i was messing around with that one time on bl_az_in069 long ago.
i made my name like รรรรรรรรbl_az_in069รรรรรรรรรร
or something like that. i dont remember exactly what.
anyways i did that, just messing around and stuff.
and i saved it and it and when you went into my games profile, if you click Complete profile it would go to...

and of course no profile. But that time i saved it and it went to that link but it had a profile and said Yahoo ID: รรรรรรรรbl_az_in069รรรรรรรรรร
every time i click the link to Complete profile it took me there.
It saved my ASCII ID but i edited my Profile and i guess i removed it.

there was a strange trick i did. i had to use like 3 browsers. when you did that trick, and put in characters you cant like _ . - etc., you make bl_az_in069 into _bl_az_in069___ yahoo would say rename error or something but it would show ID: _bl_az_in069___ anyways, i made all the possible IDs at the time it was like 7. save it in one browser, have the page up that says ID _bl_az_in069___ then in the other browser i deleted one profile, and went to the _bl_az_in069___ one and clicked save info. and it wouldnt save but give me an error again. this time it would make me try to create a profile. i left the alone, went to the first one with all my profiles, clicked refresh...and it would have the ID _bl_az_in069___ on it. i deleted it for some strange reason ( call me crazy ) and tried it again, but couldnt remember the exact steps cuz its really confusing. anyways i tried for days to figure out how i did it, but couldnt find out. i should have at least kept that rare on it :(
Its really confusing but it worked so i know theres a glitch to make rares.

I'm sure there is. And I have heard from some people ( not metioning any names) that work for Yahoo but are every day people of Yahoo. Who knows. Maybe at least one of us will wor for Yahoo Games and be able to make them!

The method of getting cookies using edit.yahoo.com still works and has for 1 or 2 months now. The only downside is Yahoo! is changing cookies every 24 hours now, but there are programs out there to get cookies, like limp's cookieman I think its called, and Yookie -> http://lightning.limpkinw.com/downloads.html

type in the URL box.

viola your cookie will appear on the page.

Yea, but whats the use of having Yookie? What can you do with it? ( Sorry if I sound like a newby.)

You can use it to get cookies for use in applets and it helps make getting the cookie easier for use with Lightning

there is a point to making a program to get cookies...for example...you have to get cookies each time you load up a booster or something...and if you are making a booster its easier to just hit verify id twice than it is to load up another program, get the cookies, copy/paste them onto your project everytime...

Well the thing about making your own program is just for you. It's probably a good thing for beginners because they know how to work the program you are using.

people can use the basic principals used in the program and use them for other programs that they want to make.

I really don't know anything about VB or Delphi even though I have both of them on my computer. Schools almost here and I don't feel like reading anything.

VB really isn't that hard, i've been working with it for less than a month, nothing too complictated yet. :)

a rare is an id that you cant make anymore ex) ids that start with numbers, ids with multiple ___ in a row, ids with symbols...

yeah theres a whole bunch of ids that classify as rares, a few more would be 3 letters or less, ids with the word yahoo in it, anything starting or ending with an underscore ect...
