At first, I was all for the attack on Iraq. I thought it was about time we did something. But that begs the question, why now? Now I notice this Dick Cheaney business in the news! Turns out he is withholding documents from the legislature about certain meetings he held with certain heads of corporations, trade associations, environmental groups and labor unions. The meetings were to devise a new energy policy for America. They apparently decided they needed 5 extra years to determine if global-warming is even real or not. They also recommended more drilling for oil and gas. So what of the planned attack on Iraq? Could this be a diversionary tactic? Could it be this war is to satisfy the wants of the oil industry? Or worse yet, both? A kind of "kill two birds with one stone" situation. Needless to say, I've started to rethink my position on attacking Iraq. What about you?

Im not from US.. George Bush is mainly mouth and wont launch a first strike.. he cant yet, shoulda invaded saudi arabia 1st, took control and then turned the tables on the east.. if he doesnt then the tide is the favour of the eastern oil countries (sad to say).. btw.. research this a bit, its a good topic that goes alot deeper than the surface suggests

Don't know, but I can say I'm not too big on the war thing :| Now thats brought up, it COULD seem like its a diversionary tactic and that kill two birds with one stone saying seems to enhance it.. or to me anyway.
what do u think about bioterrorism though? smallpox threats.. i have an essay due on it so thought i'd link that somehow...
they use to vaccinate everyone back in the 1970s but they stopped because it seemed like it was all gone, and it couldn't be found in nature and the bacteria was only found in labs that scientists had for reseach... before, russia had a lot of the bacteria but it was eventually destroyed but they do not know if it was all destroyed or something like that and so if those terrorists got a hold of it, it could infect people very quickly because its airborne and highly contagious.. now it sort of poses as a threat and i have to write an essay on whether they should start a vaccination process or not :|

There has been many cases of this recently, a big one has been documented in England too.. small pox and other bugs that 'go around' are always possible terrorist threats but in this case i dont think it'll come to something as weak as that.. bioterrorism isnt as direct and swift... as say.. a bomb! Iraq has plenty of weaponry and enough warheads to do serious damage, however the only flaw in their techonologies is range.. they wouldnt be able to his the US from their own country with all their warheads, so... unless they can find a way round it or bomb another country ur safe for now.. I, on the other hand should be worried..hehe..

Check those pictures as well as the main site for information from the alternative media. I will leave you to draw your own conclusions...

The government would have you believe that alot of warning signs that an attack was imminent on America were simply missed or were not supported by hard evidence. However, this movie might clear things up a bit ...

the thing that scares me about bush is that i feel like he doesn't know what he is doing half the time, if he is going to bring us into a war to protect our country, well ok, but if we get our asses whooped, there is still a possibility they could still attack of course, and wouldn't they start drafting again? I am 17, and i know i dont have a lot of say in this, but i have a lot of friends that are 18.... i guess whatever happens, happens, its not in my hands...
so did they actually catch those two snipers this morning or was it a false lead?

They say they caught them but they're probbly part of an organization.. if they are lets hope the organization dont try and free them or make a point of a shooting more people until they're released.. hopefully this is the end Andy :)

I personally think that we should attack Iraq and all, but we need to check things out first and make sure we know what we are doing. Even if we do stop them one day the world won't be here so not all that big of a threat.
