Was sent this article by a friend one day, pretty interesting if you ask me. Some guy overclocked his Pentium 4 2.2 Ghz chip to 3.675 Ghz by running it in liquid nitrogen. Check out the pics and the info on it at:

simple thing thats cool for computer is placeing a shortcut to the screensaver in the start up folder and pssw protecting it . it will keep a idiot busey for hours

trips another thing you can do is open up a dos prompt full screen then type:
prompt Deleting system files 67% complete... then hit enter and type cls and hit enter
Most people arent all that familiar with dos so it is kinda funny to see their reactions when they think their computer is screwing up.

That reminds me of something my friends and I did in high school. We copied all the computers .wav files to the desktop a few hundred thousand times then tried opening them all at once. The computer ran out of ram after about 200 and the harddrive was messed up ever since.

yeah thats a pretty good one i changed mine around when messing with d0s as well. A fun thing is regedit im not going to explain how unless asked but you put a string value in winlogon well actually 2 diffrent strings one for title the other for text and you can get a pop up box to come up on a friends computer scareing the %%%% out of them that they have ben hacked. always a fun thing to do.

the registry is a very powerful tool to know how to use you can do many pranks with it but also use it in conjunction with programing like getting your program to run at start up and reading through it can give you ideas for shell commands witch are very important so if anyone reading this ever gets the time i sugest they do a search on line @ google or antoher engine to learn about it.

It depends largly on what os your computer has for the exact location of where to do this but here it goes open the start menu and then run type regedit a click run. You will have a two part window left side is a tree view right is the contents of the folder selected you want to expand on the left side HKEY_local_machine/Software/microsoft/ next depends on what your running easy to figure out though /windows/currentVersion/winlogon for 95/98/and me
ang /windows NT/currentVersion/winlogon for nt based os not sure with xp

now all you have to do is open the winlogon folder right click popup menu select new string value nameit LegalNoticeCaption and then click on it and in the area marked value place what you want the title bar of the pop up to say
Next make another string value this one title LegalNoticeText for its value simply put the text you want your friend to see after your done pres f5 colapse the tree view on the right and clos the program. when the computer is restarted a message box will pop up informing who ever signs in that there computer will explode in 10 seconds or what ever you like have fun.

ive seen water being used as cooler to overclock a 2.2 to around 3.1 the liquid nitro was cool but just around the same can be done with water :p and besides whoever is really intrested in wanting to overclock thier processers the whole kit is about 200$ comes with w/e u need hoses etc. lata...z00ts

Trips.. i didnt read all the way thru what u said.. but i have renamed my recycle bin and all the tool tips are different.. i did that in regedit.. see if u an work it out, it rocks.. my pc is great :)

Noo... i didnt read it in your file..i worked it out.. but i know theres cool $hit the reg can do.. i have renamed all my 'unrenambe' icons and changed the tooltips on all my icons! :) ... i havent played with registies in a while.. i'll check it later :)

made a .reg file that once ran will lock a computer completely and will not allow it to be formated or the use of a recovery disk funny little file perfect for people that always screw there computer up will let them accese the internet and write papers thats about it
