Question/Discussion For Yahoo People

Hello All, I am posting this to start a discussion ive been wondering about. Are yahoo people really getting more pathetic as time progresses, or are the people who used to do what they are now doing grew out of it, and now it seems that what they are doing is stupid, when in essence, we were doing the exact same thing??? In other words, were we back in my day really cooler then the newbies? Or is that just our image of ourselves and everyone is basically the same? For example, were brain, omni, and aci any different from harry, ipc, and jb any different from sk and phych any different from rits, limp, and cuat, to all the dumb rating and rare people of today?

they're all doing the same thing......they're always going to be doing the same thing until there's no more yahoo chess(or whatever). just a new group of kids with the same old sh*t.

i bet if yahoo chess is still around 15 years from now, you can login, pick a room and you will still be seeing kids calling each other gay and saying how they f*ck*d your mom last night. you'll also have kids crying over lag too with 1/0.......oh, and i can't forget the 'pushers'. people will still boost, the rares will still be around. there will be new stuff, new lame insults, new progs....but in general, everything will be the same.



btw, how can something be more pathetic than it already is? i mean, if it's pathetic already wouldn't that make you want to stay away from it or whatever? hey joe bob, you're pathetic but now you're more pathetic? isn't pathetic sad enough? ? ? ? ?

one more thing....i only know two people from the people you mentioned. limp..because of this site and phych...because of his id. the other people i don't know and i guess i'm glad i don't. :)

Shhh, im not obsessed, and youve posted 1700 posts and you have the balls to call me sad? Im just posting a question that im interested in, much better than sitting here calling people gay and stupid and pretending to smoke weed, etc etc etc.

I think some of the chat that goes on in the main chat is very childish. I know a few people who I don't really pay attention to anymore. If you are upset at these people saying stuff in the main chat, put them on ignore or just ignore them yourself. No one forces you to read the main chat. As for people complaining about lag, same thing. For people who push, they are having fun and are not learning the game anyways so why worry?...It is their loss and it is only Yahoo points. If you lose some, who cares. As long as you win the game on pieces you've won I say, maybe the result doesn't reflect that but it's all good.

I remember SK and pug, and a lot more people from back in the day...they were too having fun, and hell, making money at it. Some people use the games for fun, others to make money, test their programming skill, boost ratings, or just have fun. Whatever it is, just let them do what they want, they aren't hurting you are they?
