Greatest Yahoo Ladder Names

Hey, on my website, I have compiled a list of the greatest names in yahoo ladder history, to my knowledge. Check it out on my webpage which is located at www.geocities.com/that_pope I would love feedback on the list, who you think I left out, if i have any duplicate names, and who should not be on the list. Be honest all, no bashing just cause you dislike someone. I will ponder all suggestions, and make some noted changes. Thanks all!!!

no one cares about best ratings and other cheated stuff, but i can personally tell you the best ratings belong to rits and his friends, does that help? almost every yahoo chess site that i know to have existed had best ratings and was dedicated solely to cheating, so yeah, thats been done before

as i said, it was a list of famous ids in my eyes. I was at ladder from 11/99 til it closed, so unless i forgot you, you arent famous. And all you newbies, you dont count, you werent an important part of ladder like i was. :)

Umm... i was #1 ;) and i had the best 3/0 stats of anyone ever @ ladder even 'grandmaster' Phych himself (please note inverted commas around grandmaster for sarcastic effect)

I agree, thats what i was hoping wouldnt happen, people thinking they deserve to be on the list just cause they got #1 or top 10 or have a high rating or something. These are people that most everyone will recognize. #1 isnt all that important, it got thrown around so much, anyone who begged for a few days could probably get it. So yeah, thats why I want honest opinions on my list.

umm... i beat phchys dumb prog everytime.. without doubt.. i would be down 1 pawn or so and then his slow prog would run outta time.. it was v.close on material or even.. he never beaten me anyway.. I always beat manual proggers @ 3/0 on time and interfaces are often weaker so I normally beat them.. Pope.. how about me and you 3/0? U can prog or whatever and if i win i go on that list and u accept I deserve it more than the list of predominenantly losers u have there (Cuatillo for 1!)

listen, this list isnt a judgement of character, chess skill or anything. it is a list of famous, recognizable yahoo chess ladder names. sheeesh, im not putting anyones chess game or character down by not having them on the list

As for the a1 incedent, #1 he did not hack me, i went to a site that stole my cookies, foolish me. #2, he only gave me 700ish losses, so i gave myself 1500 wins to keep it at same win percentage, about 72. So whatever you think you know, you dont.

And no, i am not a newbie at chess.net. Ive been there since april 2000, and currently rank 21st in all time tourney wins with 405, i will be 19th on sunday when it updates with around 430. I have been a td there, was accepted to be a guide, but decided it was too annoying to do while playing. Everyone there knows me, i am not a newbie, and havent been for about a year. So please only talk about what you know.

Ladder was just something else, but I think it was ran best by Rits and Cuatillo, that's just me though.... Pope nice content you have on your website, a lot of nice work.

rits and cuatillo ran one, or two ladders, not all of them. Popsicle and space_ty had one, sk had a few with phych and carver, rits and limp has one with shortstop, and magic harry, ipc, and jb had the first couple. The one right after harry and ipc stopped, my team won the reset, then sk hacked us, that was legendary....
